April 2013 Electronics Engineer (ECE) Board Exam Results



Only 1,177 out of 3,163 examinees (37.21%) successfully passed the licensure exam administered last April 14-15 at the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu.

The Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) from on Friday, 19 April 2013 announced the list of passers for April 2013 Electronics Engineer Licensure Exam known as ECE Board exam. , RIMSON ENCANTO JUNIO  a graduate of Mapua Institute of  Technology (MIT) - Manila topped the board with an average of 92.80%.

IRISTER MONTEIRO JAVEL also from Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT) - Manila landed on second place for garnering 91.70 percentage. Graduates of PUP-Sta. Mesa, DLSU-Manila and MIT complete the top 5 places.

ECE Board exam covers the following subjects: Mathematics, Electronics Engineering, General Engineering and Applied Sciences (GEAS) and Electronics Systems and Technologies (EST). ECT licensure exam includes Technical subjects, laws and ethics.
On last year exams (April and October 2012), the number of passers shows a big difference on passing percentage 53.55 and 51.57 per cent respectively compare to the results of ECE Board for 2009 to 2011.

For October 2009 board exam, passing is around 26.17% only or 1,131 out of 4,322 passed. Meanwhile, 1,026 out of 4,715 (21.7%) passed November 2010 licensure exam. 1,684 out of 4,568  or 36.87% passed October 2011 Electronics Engineering Board Exam.
The members of the Board of Electronics Engineering are Engr. Sylvia Icasiano-Marcelo, Chairman and Engr. Joel B. Bajador, Member.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on May 6, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The schedule for the oath taking ceremony for the new successful examinees will be announced later.
